Cantieri di Sarnico was established in 1992 on the shores of Lake Iseo, cradle of renowned traditions in the boating industry.

The history of the company, goes back much farther though and draws it’s origins from an era full of artistic works and antique artisanship, bringing to the present, true mastery in boat craftsmanship. The first model, the 55, was launched two years later, when style and performance reached the levels of quality deemed worthy of the image the shipyard wished to create for itself and set as it’s standard of excellence.

The deep desire to produce boats destined for celebrity, uniting the owners since the very beginning, explains how in 1995 the Sarnico 45 was born, which is to date one of the most requested models. In 1997, the Sarnico 40 was launched and later modified to become the Sarnico 43. Immediately thereafter, the Foresti family took over the shipyard.

From 1998 on, with Antonio as Chairman and Luigi as Managing Director, Cantieri di Sarnico developed unceasingly, establishing a trademark in the international market. In 2001 the 65, admiral of the fleet, and the 58 were baptized. In 2003 the company relocated to its new shipyard in Capriolo (BS), where a roofed surface of 10.000 square meters, was inaugurated. In 2004 the Sarnico 50 was launched, a perfect synthesis of tradition and technology, past and future and proud winner of the "Boat of the Year" award at the 2004 Genoa Boat Show. In Genoa 2005, the Sarnico 60, became the new leader in elegance and purity of shapes. By the end of 2005, the overall production reached almost 250 units. The summer of 2006 brought on the launching of the new SPIDER, a sporty boat, capable of brilliant performance and always in line with shipyard traditions, specially where class and elegance are concerned.
