Waxing

Probably the most important layer of protection for your vessel's exterior is a good coat of wax. Let's face it your expensive toy is faced with some of the harshest elements known to man. It will spend the better part of its life being battered by the UV rays of the sun along with salt water and salt air. A consistent waxing schedule will ensure a much longer lifespan of your exterior's finish. Aside from keeping the finish looking good it will make it easier to rinse off all that salt after a days running and keep you and your guests from getting those chalky white marks on your clothes from oxidation. Our recommended waxing schedule is to wax the topsides every 90 days and the hullsides every 180 days depending on use and color. Should the finish get beyond what wax can handle, there are many different steps and procedures the can be done to return the finish to life.

Metal Waxing

Metal and salt don't mix, even the highest quality polished stainless steel will accumulate surface rust without proper care. Regardless of the metal's type, finish or coating; a good coat of wax/sealant will ensure longevity and a much better looking boat. The products we use on metal-work are designed to be used on metal and offer the highest protection available.
